Fitchd is a creative agency based in Utrecht, specialising in visual storytelling. We help clients bring their brand identity to life through photography and video, creating impactful visuals that truly make a difference. We're small in size but big in reach. We are looking for a Creative (32 hours per week) who loves to write, create and visualise. You’ll turn briefs into strong creative concepts for photography, video and content. You develop storylines and formats that work across social media, campaigns and client proposals. You’ve got an eye for style, thrive on variety, and know how to bring ideas to life – visually and conceptually.
What you bring to the table:
2–4 years of experience in a creative role (agency or freelance)
A strong visual instinct - you can translate abstract ideas into clear, creative visuals
Conceptual thinking: you're great at shaping storylines and creative formats from a brief
A ton of creative energy and a passion for crafting formats and concepts for visual content
The ability to build presentations, proposals and moodboards that are both beautiful and on-brand
A collaborative mindset - you enjoy working with photographers, producers and clients
Experience with or curiosity about working with photography and video content
A working knowledge of tools like Figma, InDesign, Photoshop or Canva – whatever helps you create
A keen eye for visual consistency and storytelling across different formats and channels
Enough know-how to guide and support interns or junior creatives
You speak fluent English
You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent working level) in a relevant field - like communication, media, design or the arts. But more important than your diploma is your portfolio and mindset: we’re looking for someone with strong visual intuition, original ideas and a clear creative process.
What will you be doing?
Creating storylines and creative formats for clients - and for Fitchd itself
Building out content proposals, mood boards and visual presentations
Translating brand values and brand identity into clear visual direction
Taking part in (and preparing for) strategic client sessions
Supporting creative development for pitches and social media templates
Co-developing photography guides together with clients and colleagues
Experimenting with AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney and DALL·E
Helping safeguard our visual style and creative consistency
